The Riksdag marks one year of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine
To show support for Ukraine one year after Russia's full-scale invasion of the country, the Speaker will deliver a speech during a ceremony in the Chamber. During the week, the Ukrainian flag will also be hoisted at Riksplan, and the East Wing of the Riksdag will be illuminated in yellow and blue.
The green transition on the agenda when the Riksdag hosts interparliamentary conference on circular bioeconomy
On 20 February, the Riksdag will arrange a digital conference on circular bioeconomy. During the conference, parliamentarians mainly from the national parliaments of the EU member states and from the European Parliament will meet not only to discuss challenges and difficulties posed by a circular bioeconomy but also above all to highlight good examples and innovations.

On Friday 17 February, the Riksdag will be flying its flags at half-mast to honour the memory of member of the Riksdag Mats Nordberg (Sweden Democrats). Mats Nordberg, who was elected to the Riksdag in 2018, passed away on 15 January.

The Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosu visited Sweden on 6–9 February, and was received at the Riksdag by the Speaker Andreas Norlén.

The foreign policy debate was held in the Riksdag on 15 February. The Minister for Foreign Affairs Tobias Billström (Moderate Party) introduced the debate with a presentation of the Government's Statement of Foreign Policy.

On 29–30 January, the Riksdag will host the meeting of the chairpersons of COSAC. During the conference, the chairpersons of the national parliaments' EU affairs committees and members of the European Parliament will be meeting to discuss current EU issues.
