Opening of the Riksdag session

The ceremony for the opening of the Riksdag session marks the start of the 2022/23 parliamentary year. At the request of the Speaker, H.M. The King declares the 2022/23 Riksdag session open.

Invited guests only.

The session will be interpreted into English and a live webcast will also be available in English. It will also be possible to watch the interpreted session afterwards.
