Session of the Nordic Council: Plenary

The 71st session of the Nordic Council will open and will be followed, among other things, by a Nordic summit with the Nordic Prime Ministers. The theme of the debate will be “How can the Nordic social model evolve and contribute to sustainable change?” and will deal with issues such as:

  • How can popular movements and political parties respond to the growing need for change; do they need to think in new ways?
  • The need for social dialogue and democratic legitimacy linked to new popular/youth/grassroots movements for green change.

Venue: The Chamber of the Riksdag

Visit the Riksdag The plenary meeting will be open to the public and the media, and can be watched directly and on demand via the webcast service. The plenary meeting will be interpreted into Scandinavian and English.
