Getting to the Riksdag

The Visitors' Entrance, Riksgatan 3, Stockholm, is the main entrance for the public for access to the Public Gallery and guided tours.

The map shows the entrances to the West Wing (RV) and East Wing (RÖ) of the Riksdag which are open to visitors:

A. Riksgatan 1. Main entrance.
B. Riksgatan 2.
C. Riksgatan 3. The Visitors’ Entrance to the Public Gallery of the Chamber, guided tours and school and study visits.
D. Norrbro 1A, Riksplan. Entrance for visitors to the gallery of the former Second Chamber.
E. Norrbro 1B, Riksplan. Entrance for visitors to the gallery of the former First Chamber.
F. Mynttorget 1. Entrance for visitors to Skandiasalen.

How to get to the Riksdag

Bus

The closest bus stops that are serviced by two or more bus routes are Tegelbacken, Gustav Adolfs torg, Kungsträdgården/Karl XII:s torg, Riddarhustorget and Slottsbacken.  It takes between 5 and 10 minutes to walk from these bus stops to the Riksdag.

Metro

The closest metro stations are T-Centralen, Gamla stan and Kungsträdgården.  It takes between 5 and 15 minutes to walk from these stations to the Riksdag.

Train

It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the Riksdag from Stockholm Central Station.

Limited access around Mynttorget

From October 2023 until the summer of 2024, work will be carried out around Mynttorget in order to increase security in the area. The work will be conducted in stages, and during this period, access around Mynttorget will be limited.
