Media accreditation for the Nordic Council session in Stockholm
Media accreditation to the Swedish Parliament is compulsory for journalists wishing to cover the Nordic Council session on location.
How to apply
Applications for media accreditation are to be submitted using the form below. Please fill in the form and send it by email to the Riksdag Administration, press@riksdagen.se.
Other documents required are
- a copy of your ID document (if you have no Swedish personal ID number)
- a certificate from an employer/assigner proving that you have a journalistic assignment at the Swedish Parliament during the Nordic Council session.
Requirements for media accreditation
In order to obtain media accreditation, you need to have journalistic duties for a media company, either as an employee or a freelancer. These must correspond to at least 50% of a full working week (50% of 40 hours) during the dates to which the application for accreditation applies. They should be professional activities with market-based pay rates.
The term “media company” refers in this context to legal entities whose primary activities involve production or dissemination of mass media on a professional basis.
