Yes to the Government’s spring amending budget 2025

The Riksdag has voted in favour of the Government’s proposals in the spring amending budget concerning changes in state expenditure during 2025. The decision means that the allocated funds will increase by SEK 7.2 billion.
The largest increases in expenditure of SEK 2.2 billion relate to the Green Industry Leap, SEK 1.2 billion to contributions to wage guarantee compensation, and SEK 1 billion to contributions to unemployment benefit and activity support.
The proposal also includes increases of SEK 30.2 billion in payment appropriations for 2025. Payment appropriations are permits that a central government agency needs in order to enter into financial commitments involving expenditure which is to be funded with future allocations.
The largest increases relate to procurement of equipment and installations (SEK 25 billion), climate investments (SEK 1.9 billion) and civil defence in health and medical care (SEK 1 billion).
