Decision to increase members’ pay from 1 January 2025

The Riksdag Remunerations Board has decided to increase the pay of the members of the Riksdag from 1 January 2025 by SEK 3,000 to SEK 78,500 per month.
In the considerations on which the decision was based, the Board has primarily taken into account the wage increases resulting from the agreements on the labour market for the current wage-agreement period.
The Riksdag Remunerations Board is responsible for determining the monthly pay of the members of the Riksdag. The members of the Board are Jonas Malmberg, Peter Egardt and Barbro Holmberg. It consists of one chair and two regular members. They are appointed by the Riksdag, but are not members of the Riksdag.
