The Riksdag has elected Andreas Norlén as its Speaker for the 2026-2030 electoral period.
Two candidates were nominated for the post of Speaker, and the election was carried out by means of a secret ballot. Andreas Norlén was elected following a secret ballot.

- Johanna Haraldsson (S), 146.
- Invalid votes, 1.
The Speaker leads the work of the Riksdag and is ultimately responsible for how it is planned and conducted.
