On Monday 5 October, the Riksdag Nominations Committee decided on proposals for members and deputy members of the parliamentary committees, the Committee on EU Affairs, the Riksdag Board and the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs.

On Tuesday 6 October, the Nominations Committee’s proposals will be presented in the Chamber, after which the elections will be held. Once the elections of members of parliamentary committees, the Committee on EU Affairs and other bodies have taken place, the Speaker will convene the first meetings of the parliamentary committees and the Committee on EU Affairs.
