Work environment conventions to be approved

The Riksdag approved the ILO Convention on reducing violence and harassment at work and the ILO Occupational Safety and Health Convention.
The International Labour Organisation (ILO) is an independent UN agency. The goal of the organisation is to promote social justice and humane working conditions.
The Riksdag shares the Government’s assessment that it is important that Sweden ratifies the conventions. No one should be subjected to violence or harassment in the workplace. The Riksdag furthermore shares the Government’s view that Swedish law already meets the requirements of the conventions.
