Pay increase for members of the Riksdag

The Riksdag Remunerations Board has decided to increase the pay of the members of the Riksdag from 1 January 2026 by SEK 2,900 to SEK 81,400 per month.
In the considerations on which the decision was based, the Board has primarily taken into account the wage increases resulting from the agreements on the labour market for the current wage-agreement period and the wage increases that have taken place in 2025.
The members of the Board are Jonas Malmberg, Peter Egardt and Barbro Holmberg.
