President of the National Assembly of Serbia visits the Riksdag

The President of the Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, with her delegation, paid an official visit to Stockholm on 11 March at the invitation of the Speaker of the Riksdag Andreas Norlén.

The Speaker Andreas Norlén hosted a lunch in which the Second Deputy Speaker Julia Kronlid, members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Industry and Trade, and the Western Balkans Friendship Group also participated. The Speaker Andreas Norlén also received the delegation for a meeting in which members from the Committee on EU Affairs and the Committee on Environment and Agriculture participated.

Items on the agenda included Serbia’s candidate for EU membership, regional security policy, gender equality, green transition, innovations and strategic minerals.

In addition to the meetings at the Riksdag, the President of the National Assembly of Serbia also met Auditor General Christina Gellerbrant Hagberg and visited International IDEA and KTH Innovation.
