Presidents from the Dutch Parliament visit the Riksdag

The Presidents from the Dutch Parliament, Martin Bosma and Jan Anthonie Bruijn, with their delegation, are on an official visit to Stockholm on 13-14 February at the invitation of the Speaker of the Riksdag Andreas Norlén.
First Deputy Speaker Kenneth G Forslund will host a lunch, in which members from the Committee on Industry and Trade will also participate. The Speaker Andreas Norlén will receive the delegation for a meeting and dinner. Members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on the Constitution, and the Committee on Defence, as well as the Committee on EU Affairs will participate in the meeting and the dinner.
Items on the agenda include a constitutional comparison of parliamentary systems, electoral systems and scrutiny and control functions. Further examples of themes are security and defence issues, in particular continued support for Ukraine and cooperation within NATO and the Joint Expeditionary Force, as well as energy transition and innovations.
In addition to the meetings at the Riksdag, the Dutch Presidents will also have an audience with the King and meet International IDEA and the Chair of the Stockholm Municipal Council Olle Burell.
