Lithuania’s Prime Minister visits the Riksdag

Lithuania’s Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas will visit Stockholm on Tuesday 22 April at the invitation of Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. During the visit, the Prime Minister will be received at the Riksdag by the Speaker Andreas Norlén.

The Lithuanian Prime Minister will take part in a meeting with the Speaker Andreas Norlén and members of the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence. Topics on the agenda include the ongoing strengthening of relations between Sweden and Lithuania, and the common agenda in the EU, NATO and NB8.

In addition to the meeting at the Riksdag, the Lithuanian Prime Minister will meet the Swedish Prime Minister. Prime Minister Gintautas Palucka’s visit will be the first since the current Lithuanian Government took office.
