The Riksdag votes in favour of the Government's proposal on total defence in 2025–2030

The Riksdag has voted in favour of the Government’s proposals on:
- an overall objective for total defence;
- new objectives for military and civil defence;
- the direction of the Swedish Armed Forces’ war organisation.
The Government's proposals mean a substantial reinforcement of Sweden’s total defence, consisting of both military and civilian activities.
