Members elected for the parliamentary committees, the Committee on European Union Affairs, the Riksdag Board and the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs

Today, Tuesday 4 October, the Riksdag has elected members to form part of the 15 Riksdag committees during 2022–2026. The Riksdag has also chosen the members of the Committee on European Union Affairs, the Riksdag Board and the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs.
The Riksdag voted in accordance with the proposals put forward by the Nominations Committee after having received nominations from the parties represented in the Riksdag.

At 11.30 am, each of the committees assembled for constituent meetings where they elected chairs and deputy chairs, amongst other roles. The Committee on European Union Affairs will hold its first constituent meeting on 5 October at 8 am.
Later today, the Riksdag website will be updated with names and photographs of the now elected members.
