Official visit by the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament
The Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosu visited Sweden on 6–9 February, and was received at the Riksdag by the Speaker Andreas Norlén.
The Speaker Igor Grosu and delegation paid an official visit to Sweden. Topics on the agenda included the country's security policy situation with regard to the ongoing war in Ukraine, the situation of Ukrainian refugees in Moldova, energy issues, democracy and reform work, and bilateral contacts.

At the Riksdag, Second Deputy Speaker Julia Kronlid (Sweden Democrats) hosted a lunch attended by the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and members of the Swedish OSCE delegation, as well as members of the Riksdag Committee on Industry and Trade. In the evening, the Speaker of the Riksdag Andreas Norlén held a dinner for the visiting delegation, the Chair of the Swedish OSCE delegation and members of the Committee on the Constitution, Committee on Foreign Affairs, Committee on Defence and the Committee on EU Affairs.

The programme outside the Riksdag included meetings with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (Moderate Party), Minister for Defence Pål Jonsson (Moderate Party) and Minister for EU Affairs Jessika Roswall (Moderate Party). The delegation's programme also included visits – hosted by Uppsala County Governor – to Uppsala University and the foundation for collaboration between the universities in Uppsala, business and society (STUNS).
